Since we had so few entries I am splitting them up in groups of 5 (we are still waiting on one entry to be approved by the submitter as they reached their limit for submissions for the month).

Contest Theme:
Your chance to create fairies, pixies, sprites or gnomes based on animals that come out of hibernation. It has to be based upon the animals listed below.  It can be human based or it can be animal based but it CANNOT BE just a picture of that animal or a random elf, fairy, etc not relatied to an animal listed below.  Also, your submissions MUST fit into the groups theme - Kawaii!

Please remember that this is a contest for SPRITES, FAIRIES, PIXIES OR GNOMES based off the animals listed above. This contest is not for animal pictures. Please do not submit pictures of animals or random elfs, fairies, etc  that are not related to the contest theme - they will be denied.

Here are the classical definitions of the contest themes:

PIXIE: A supernatural being in folklore and children's stories, typically portrayed as small and humanlike in form, with pointed ears and a pointed hat, and mischievous in character.

FAIRY: A small imaginary being of human form that has magical powers, esp. a female one.

SPRITE: An elf or fairy.

GNOME: A legendary dwarfish creature supposed to guard the earth's treasures underground.

The definition of sprite, fairy, pixy and gnome is a subjective one, it doesn't have to be the classical definition, but please do not submit work of just a picture of that particular animal.  You can have other animals in the submission but it must contain at least one SPRITES, FAIRIES, PIXIES OR GNOMES based on the animals above.

2.  Must relate to the theme of the contest and the group - Kawaii.  
3.  No direct nudity but you are allowed to allude to nudity. Remember to be modest!  We have minors.
4.  Open to all countries.  Some prizes may not be shipped internationally.  It is up to the prize contributor and their country of origin.
5.  Artwork and ideas must be your own.   No tracing.
6.  All forms of entries are welcome, with the exception of writing (unless accompanied by a visual piece done by the writer).
7.  Any member, co-founder or contributor of the group may participate.
8.  Must be a new piece created for this contest
9.  Must state that it is a CONTEST ENTRY for #kawaiiheaven in the description of the piece.
10.  Contest is for SPRITES, FAIRIES, PIXIES OR GNOMES based off the animals listed. This contest is not for animal pictures. Please do not submit pictures of animals only.

Voting:
All entries will be posted in polls for voting by members of the community.  10 per day in the order they were received until all entries have been voted on.  Winners of each day's polls will be compiled into one large poll to determine 5 semi-finalists.  Those five will be featured in a journal and a final poll will be created.  Voting for each poll will last three days.
